Zach Bryan, the most recent song, aims at the ice, says that America “fades”

Up

Part of a song by the controversial songwriter-songwriter Zach Bryan raises eyebrows on social networks and is rented by the Trump administration criticism after the artist published a one-minute teaser who referred to the raids by immigration and the application of customs and the “discoloration of red, white and blue”.

Key facts

Bryan, the most famous for his bad moods “Something in the Orange” and “I Remember Everything”, recently published a one-minute audio clip of an unprecedented song entitled “Bad News” which seems to aim for the tactics used by ice under President Donald Trump, singing that the agency “will she be part of your door”.

The song continues by saying that “children are afraid and all alone” and refers to the changes that occur in America, including a nod to his mentor and his criticism of Trump Bruce Springsteen (“The boss stopped sticking / The rock has stopped rolling.”)

Bryan, a US Navy veteran, then refers to growing tensions (“the fingers in the middle rising and he will not stop showing”) before appointing the “bad news” referenced in the title of the song as “the discoloration of red, white and blue”.

Bryan’s position is considered to be surprisingly liberal for a modern country music star and the song has spread over Tiktok in videos that have accumulated millions of views and attracted thousands of comments, largely fans supporting its apparent ice review.

Before teasing “bad news”, Bryan insisted that his music is not political and described itself as a libertarian.

Bryan has not announced a release date for a full version of “Bad News.

Crucial quote

“More a person includes politics in their life everywhere apart from a ballot, the more I think they have nothing more interesting to do or say,” said Bryan in an article deleted since last year.

Chief critic

John Rich, half of the Country Big and Rich music duo, seemed to be the first star to unleash himself in Bryan after teasing the new song. “Who is ready for the Zach Bryan-Dixie Chicks tour? ProB a Bud Bud Light Sraining for this one,” he tweeted. The post refers to the fallout felt by the Dixie Chicks Band, now known as Chicks, after the group criticized George W. Bush in 2003 and the Bud Light Boycott after having established a partnership with the Creator of Transgenre Content Dylan Mulvaney in 2023. Criquets. “”

What to monitor

If the song draws more anger from the right. Musicians who have spoken against the Trump administration in recent years have made reimpters across the supporters of Maga. In May, the musician Neil Young released a new song criticizing Elon Musk and was called a “old bitter liberal”. Last year, the Green Day group updated a word in its 2004 song “American idiot” to say “I am not part of the Maga Agenda” and was criticized by the commentators of Fox News.
