The company AI d’Elon Musk, XAI, now has a new financial director: the former banker of Morgan Stanley Anthony Armstrong, reported the Financial Times, citing anonymous sources.
Armstrong, who previously advised Musk during the Twitter agreement, will supervise the finances of Xai and X, which were merged in April, according to the report. The former banker has been working with XAI for several weeks and has only been appointed recently as a financial director, added the FT.
XAI has been without financial director since his previous finance chief, Mike Liberatore, left the company in July, and the appointment of Armstrong follows a list of high -level executive departures in Xai and X.
XAI’s Advocate General Robert Keele left the company in August after a little more than a year of work. Raghu Rao, a main lawyer, also left at the same time, and Igor Babuschkin, one of the co-founders of XAI, said in August that he left the company to launch his own venture capital company dedicated to research on IA security. Linda Yaccarino, former CEO of X, also resigned in July.
Armstrong will succeed the current CFO of X, Mahmoud Reza Banki, who leaves the company, reported the FT.
XAI did not immediately return a comment request.
