A statement shared by wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp read: « On behalf of Kevin and Tamara Nash, I must sadly report that their son Tristen Nash has tragically passed away at the age of 26.

“Tristen recently started working on Kevin’s new podcast and the two have enjoyed their time together.
The Nash family asks if you could respect their privacy during this time.

Following the announcement, Nash’s « Kliq This » podcast co-host Sean Oliver shared a touching tribute on Twitter.

He posted: « I met a great young man this year named Tristen. He worked with me and his dad on a podcast we have, and turned out to be smart, sweet, savvy, witty and mature beyond his few years. There were great things ahead for him, but this was not to be.
“The injustice of our short stay on earth rears its ugly head again, we remain speechless. To steal such a pure heart, full of potential, is incomprehensible cruelty. I won’t try. Got his last text for me: ‘I love you man.’ I read it 50 times in 2 days, T, I’m going to read it a lot more. #T (sic) »

Wrestling star Shawn Michaels – who was part of the Kliq alongside Kevin, Triple H, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman – has vowed to do all he can to support his friend.
« Our heart goes out to him, » he told TMZ. « He knows where his Kliq buddies are at…and we’re going to be with him. Just let him have his time in this time of extreme difficulty and just be there for him and pray for him and we hope that’s what everyone will do.
