Workers evacuated during early morning fire at West Mountain townhouse development – Hamilton

Several contractors were evacuated during a multi-alarm fire at a new townhouse complex on West Mountain in Hamilton on Thursday morning.

The Hamilton Fire says flames swept through two units around 10 a.m. in the Sanatorium Road development.

No injuries were reported during the incident. The fire was extinguished shortly after 11 a.m., according to firefighters.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
