Workers are told to suffer from inflation

The Bank of Canada’s significant interest rate hike is a signal that the economy is in serious trouble, July 14
If “we are drawn into a wage-price spiral where workers demand better wages to cover higher costs, prompting companies to raise prices to meet higher wages,” whose fault is it?
Companies are already raising prices, which is helping to drive up inflation dramatically, thus using inflation as a smokescreen. Yet, God forbid, people who are forced to pay these prices, along with skyrocketing rents, should dare to demand a raise!
The hard-working, once again, are called upon to suffer and lose more ground every year. I sense trouble ahead of me.
