Work accident on the REM construction site

A work accident took place on the REM site, at rue Duchesne, in the borough of Saint-Laurent, late Tuesday afternoon.

According to Urgences santé, two individuals were transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital, including one « in urgent mode ».

A citizen confirms to Subway seeing two paramedics and an ambulance arrive at the scene around 4:05 p.m.

“When you see two, three ambulances arriving on the spot, there is something very serious”, supports the witness.

Questioned by Subway, Urgences santé was unable to reveal more information about the state of health of the patients. The SPVM confirmed the work accident to the newspaper, but did not give any details on the course of the accident.
