Woman wanted after gun goes missing in North York shooting

Police are looking for a woman wanted in connection with a firearms investigation.

Investigators say following a shooting that took place in the Fountainhead and Sentinel Roads area just after 5 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, a woman removed a gun from the crime scene and ran away.

She is described as having a large build with long red hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white hoodie, black pants and white running shoes.

Police say they believe she frequents the area of ​​Fountainhead Road and Sentinel Road.

The woman faces charges of possession of a firearm and obstruction of justice.
