Winter weather causes school bus cancellations from Ramore to Hearst

Freezing rain is causing school bus cancellations in parts of northeastern Ontario.

Buses do not run from Ramore to Hearst, including Timmins. This includes Iroquois Falls, Cochrane, Smooth Rock Falls and Kapuskasing. Area schools are open.

Bad weather has also led to highway closures. Highway 11 is closed between Cochrane and Kapuskasing. Route 655 is also closed between Timmins and Driftwood at Route 11.
