Week 6: Alabama seeks to take revenge against Vanderbilt

Tuscaloosa, ala. (Wiat) – Alabama football is looking to do something that no team has done so far this season, beating Vanderbilt’s commodores.

The Crimson Tide n ° 10 enters this match after entering Athens and beaten the Bulldogs of Georgia n ° 5 for the 10th time in its last 11 meetings. Impressive is an understatement because many analysts have won the DAWGS, but the Crimson Tide has proven once again that Kirby Smart has a problem with Alabama because it falls to 1-7 against them. But, Bama must quickly overcome this victory because the Vandy team of this year is a serious threat.

Vanderbilt is in this 5-0 match and ranked n ° 16 in the country. The commodores defeated Alabama last season, 40-35, and bringing back his biggest weapon – Diego Pavia. So far this season, the “Dores have marked more than 30 in each of its competitions and Pavia launched for 1211 yards to go with 13 touchs. He also added 294 yards on the ground and two scores.

College Gameday will be present and Theo von has been announced as guest picker. The kick -off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on ABC. Here is what to look for in alabama against Vanderbilt:

Alabama must be able to stop the race

  • During the last seasons match, Vanderbilt ended with 418 yards in total, including 166 on the field, and the possession time was 42:08 at 17:52. They went 12 out of 18 in third row and 1-1 in fourth bass. They ran the ball in total 54 times and continuously, slowly but surely, walked in the field.
  • Alabama did not do a good job to stop the race for this whole season, while Georgia rushed over 227 yards a week ago. If Alabama does not want a rehearsal last season, they have to do a better job to prepare the advantage and get out of the field in third row.

The offense of the Alabama must capitalize each possession

  • If the Alabama is struggling to stop, there will be a ton of pressure to mark each time they touch the ball. Vandy will probably approach this game as a season and try to limit the possession of the crimson tide. It is therefore essential for the Alabama to score when they have the ball. This Bama reception room will be the best that Vandy has been confronted and the commodores abandoned 35 points in the state of Utah.

This game has the potential to be a shooting

  • If you said to a Vanderbilt fan years ago that they would only be a 10.5 -point outsider on the road to Tuscaloosa, you would probably have crazy looks. But that testifies to the work that Clark Lea has done in the construction of this program. This team is more than capable of winning this match and has the plan to do so.
  • The two teams will set up points, the team to obtain this crucial judgment will probably leave.

Paris Lines

  • Tread: Alabama (-10.5)
  • Too much: 55.5
  • Moneyline: Bama (-425) Vandy (+330)
