Waukesha parade mass shooting suspect Darrell Brooks dismissed from court after explosion

The man accused of killing six people during the Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin last year, was escorted out of court on Friday after giving a tirade during a preliminary hearing.
Darrell Brooks, 39, went from sleeping at the defense table to yelling at Judge Jennifer Dorow and sheriff’s deputies on Friday morning, according to footage released by WISN-TV.
« I don’t care if there’s no live broadcast. Just like you don’t care. It’s all political, » the man accused of ramming parade-goers with an SUV last November stammered to Dorow.
“You sit here and act like you know me. People like you, you don’t know where I’m from,” he continued as the judge stood at her bench with her arms crossed.
Brooks then argued with a deputy as Dorow asked him to stop interrupting proceedings, according to the station.
« Don’t dog me, » he was heard in the footage admonishing a deputy.
« Don’t push back then. Don’t push back,” the deputy replied.
« Push me again, » allegedly threatened the suspect.
Brooks was held in contempt of court and escorted out of the courtroom, the outlet reported.
He returned after a lunch break and sat quietly before telling Dorow that he was not feeling well and wanted to return to his cell.
The judge granted his request and the hearing continued without him, according to the article.
Dorow dropped six counts of homicide by impaired use of a vehicle and allowed the state to use footage of his interrogation in the hours after the attack as evidence for two days of hearings, WISN said.

Brooks faces six charges of first-degree intentional homicide in addition to a slew of other charges and faces a life sentence.
His trial is due to begin in October.
