Violence of Ladakh: Sonam Wangchuk misleaded people by quoting the Arab Spring, the demonstrations of Nepal Gen Z, explains the center

The government accused the activist Sonam Wangchuk of directing the Ladakh demonstrations and of encouraging violence on Wednesday, September 24, through provocative speeches by mentioning the demonstrations of the Arab Spring and Nepal.

Wangchuk began a hunger strike on September 10 and asked the state of the territory of the Ladakh Union and the inclusion under the sixth appendix to the Constitution.

However, he did not end his strike despite many leaders who urged him to do so, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement. “He continued with the hunger strike, deceiving the people by the provocative mention of the Printanan Arab style protest and references to the demonstrations of the Z generation in Nepal,” he added.

Violent demonstrations broke out in Leh du Ladakh on September 24, which witnessed the fire of the BJP office.

“By the way, in the midst of these violent developments, he broke his fast and left for his village in an ambulance without making serious efforts to control the situation,” the statement said.

Imposed curfew, LG lightens the plot

The curfew was imposed in the LEH of Ladakh while the demonstrations became violent. Lieutenant-Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, announced the curfew to prevent more violence in the territory of the Union, while alleging a conspiracy behind the clashes.

“The curfew was imposed as a precautionary measure. People have lost their lives here and I express my condolences to their families. All necessary measures will be taken to prevent more victims,” ​​said GUPTA, in accordance with the PTI news agency.

“Violence has been orchestrated under a plot to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in Ladakh,” he added, saying that any form of violence will not be tolerated.

Inverted BJP Office

The office of the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party in Leh was burnt down by the demonstrators on September 24 after the clashes broke out between the demonstrators and the police.

Police fired tear gas and used Baton to control the crowd. Pierre’s pelting by young people was also reported.

At least four people died while 45 other people were injured, including 22 police officers, according to PTI.

What were the demonstrations?

The demonstrators demanded a state of state of the territory of the Union of Ladakh and its inclusion in the sixth appendix of the Indian Constitution.

The demonstrations were led by the organization Leh Apex (laboratory) which has become violent when the demonstrators alleged that the center had not recognized their requests.

The laboratory group had called for demonstrations on September 24 after two of its members, who were on a 35 -day hunger strike that started on September 10, fell ill and were taken to the hospital on Tuesday, September 23, according to News18.

The Congress Advisor is charged

The adviser to the Congress Phuntsog Stanzin TSepag, as he was also accused of violence, according to NDTV.

The BJP blamed the Congress Party for Violence and shared photos of the Member of the TSPAG Congress who would be part of the crowd.
