United States Open: Leylah Fernandez eliminated in the second round

Quebecer Leylah Fernandez was eliminated by Russian Liudmila Samsonova on Wednesday night in the second round of the United States Open in New York.

Fernandez, who was the 14th seed in the competition, was shown the exit door by the 35th player in the world 6-3, 7-6 (3).
