Undefeated MMA prospect killed in violent home invasion – RT Sport News


Tanner Marlow, an undefeated American mixed martial arts fighter, was killed in a violent home invasion in California on December 24.

The 4-0 light heavyweight, who had fought for feeder league UFC Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA), was reportedly at home when a gunman, later identified as Jacob Malena, attempted to enter the property.

Marlow was also equipped with a gun and both men died in an ensuing shootout.

Local reports said Malena was trying to force their way into the property, where his ex-girlfriend was staying. She was unharmed during the incident.

His fighting nickname was « The American Psycho » – the same nickname used by UFC Hall of Fame fighter Stephan Bonnar, who coincidentally died two days before Marlow from suspected heart problems.
