Ukraine’s first lady visits the White House to meet with Jill Biden

Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska traveled to the White House on Thursday to meet with First Lady Jill Biden about Russia’s war in her country, as part of a bilateral meeting between Ukrainian officials and Americans.
The two women planned to discuss « the human cost of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, » according to the White House. Biden hosted a bilateral meeting with U.S. officials, including Second Mr. Doug Emhoff and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, and Ukrainian officials, including the country’s ambassador to the United States.
Zelenska was greeted at the White House by First Lady and President Joe Biden, who presented her with a bouquet of blue, yellow and white flowers.
