Two 15-year-olds gunned down during a late night party in suburban Halifax


HALIFAX – A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after two 15-year-olds were gunned down early today at a party in Halifax.

Police say the incident happened around 12:40 p.m. on a quiet, gated street in the suburb of Cole Harbor, east of the city.

According to the RCMP, one of the victims was shot in the arm and the other was shot in the leg.

The 15-year-old injured in the arm was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where he was treated and released.

The person injured in the leg was treated at the scene by paramedics for what police called « minor injuries ».

Police say the young man who allegedly carried out the shooting fled the scene but was found by Halifax police and RCMP officers around 2 a.m. with the help of police dogs.
