Trump hails peace plan between Israel and Hamas: a “great day”

President Donald Trump hailed a peace plan, of which Israel and Hamas have “both signed the first phase,” and stressed that it was a “GREAT day for the Arab and Muslim world, Israel” and other nations.

Nick Gilbertson of Breitbart News reported that during a panel discussion on Antifa, Trump said a deal to end the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas was “very close.”

During the event, Trump also received a memo from Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in which he revealed that a peace deal was “very close” to being reached.

Trump announced Saturday that Israel had “accepted a proposed withdrawal line” and that a ceasefire would begin “when Hamas” also accepted it.
