On Monday, defense attorney Isabel Schurman tried to highlight the holes in the prosecutor’s case by pointing out apparent contradictions in the defendant’s testimony.

Rather than demonstrating that the assault would never have taken place, Me Schurman tried to argue that the accused could have been in the wrong person, in particular because of the very poor lighting during the alleged event and the short time frame in which this took place.
