Can’t take a break! Barely two months after being hospitalized with pancreatitis, Travis Barker is now struggling with COVID-19.
The rocker took to Instagram on Thursday to share the news with his fans, posting a sleek, shirtless snapshot of himself swinging chopsticks.
“Covid sucks🤬 I prefer to play drums,” Barker captioned the post.
The 46-year-old drummer performed on tour with Machine Gun Kelly for the latest leg of his General public sale Tour, which is expected to end in October.
As Kelly wrote earlier this month, Barker allegedly violated her doctor’s orders to perform live, following her previous health battle.
At the end of June, shortly after his marriage to Kourtney Kardashian, the musician was unexpectedly hospitalized.
« Went in for an endoscopy on Monday feeling great, » Barker wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. « But after dinner I developed excruciating pain and have since been hospitalized. During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed from the very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube, resulting in severe life-threatening pancreatitis.
A source told ET earlier this month that « Travis’ health is the top priority right now » as he and Kardashian are considering trying for a baby together.
