For some unclear reason, the pedestrian in his 60s from Quebec lost his life under the Soumande Street overpass, southbound near downtown.

Three cars were involved in this serious incident which occurred around 5:30 p.m.

A car had its windshield smashed and two cars ran over the individual, police said. Drivers may have experienced a major shock. In the evening, only one lane remained open to traffic.

The voluntary gesture thesis initially seemed the most plausible. A little before 11 p.m., the authorities could not confirm the exact circumstances despite several hours of investigation on the expressways.

« The investigation will continue, » simply mentioned the spokeswoman for the Sûreté du Québec Béatrice d’Orsainville.
