Police say a Toronto subway station is evacuated following a bomb threat.

In a tweet Monday, Toronto police said officers received a bomb threat report at the Pioneer Village subway station in the Steeles Avenue and Northwest Gate area just after 9 a.m.

Officers said the station was being evacuated.

« No injuries reported at this time, » police said in the tweet.

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) said there was no service between Vaughan and Finch Avenue West due to the incident.

“Shuttles run between Vaughan Metropolitan Center and Finch West,” read a tweet from the TTC. « All bus routes serving Pioneer Village Station will be rerouted away from the station. »
