Toronto police released a photo of a man wanted in connection with an assault investigation in late April.
Police say on April 25, officers responded to a call for an assault in the Yonge Street and College Street area around 5:45 p.m.
Officers say it was reported that after a man entered a building, they approached the victim, who is confined to a wheelchair, and punched her in the face. Police add that the attack was unprovoked and the two do not know each other.
The man was last seen walking away from the area, heading south on Yonge Street, west on Gerrard Street.
The victim suffered an injury under his eye, police said.
Police describe the man as between 25 and 35 years old, with dark skin and short black hair, wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt, blue jeans and construction-style boots, and a red backpack.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
