Tom Watson’s wife announces the end of a three-month marriage
Former professional golfer Tom Watson and his wife LeslieAnne Wade have announced that their marriage is over after just three months.
Wade, a longtime CBS Sports executive, came down with an « unexpected illness », which forced the couple to end the marriage.
“Over the past few months I have been singularly focused on a difficult road through an unexpected illness. Tom has been supportive of me, including ensuring that I receive the best care possible. I am beyond grateful and blessed to him for to be able to fully and completely recover, » Wade tweeted on Monday.
« Unfortunately, the inability to properly launch and build our relationship in these early days forces us to end our marriage. He will always mean the world to me and our connection is forever. »
