This is what the future Lamborghinis might look like

Lamborghini is not a subtle company. Even with the hexagonal design language of the automaker, it does not seem that future models are moving away from this emblematic and sharp style. A new design study, marking the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini Centro Stile, probably previews what the future cars of the car manufacturer could one day look.

His name is the Lamborghini Manifesto, and the director of the company’s design, Mitja Borkert, said on Instagram That the concept presents “the potential future of our unique design DNA”.

The concept presents an evolution of the current style of the car. It is familiar, with a shark nose and lighting accents in Y-shaped lighting. The Lamborghini has a sloping windshield with a double bubble glass roof on passengers who mix transparently on the back, which is one of its most distinctive elements.

There is a solid diffuser and the short rear wings reveal the gigantic tires. It almost looks like a hot wheel of the rear angles, but it is only a concept. The design study has no doors, and the entirely glass greenhouse seems eccentric, but we will probably see some of the design elements on future supercars.

Under the ambitious style are indices of parts worthy of production, such as the headlights and the rear lights inspired by the Fénomeno, but it is nothing more than a concept filled with potential ideas. Borkert said:

“We define the trends, we do not follow them. We must always look to the future, next year and the next 20 years.

This does not inspire the confidence that we will see one of these elements soon. Lamborghini recently replaced its two supercars, launching the Temerario and Revuerto respectively in 2023 and 2024.

The concept is part of a broader celebration around the business design studio. Although Lamborghini Centro Stile was created in the early 2000s, he finished his first car in 2005. Although the Temerario and Revuelto is still relatively new, the studio will have many limited and punctual models to produce that could start to integrate bit of the concept of manifesto.

It would be a terrible waste.
