Taylor Swift gave a boost to the box office this weekend.
In partnership AMCThe singer-songwriter brought a 90-minute film in the cinemas for a weekend only to celebrate the release of his 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl”.
The three -day event raised around $ 33 million in the country, the biggest album event in the history of cinema. Internationally, the film has climbed $ 13 million, bringing the total estimated at the box office at $ 46 million for the weekend.

“The official release of Swift” presented a song clip “The Fate of Ophelia”, as well as behind the scenes of clip shooting, lyric videos for other songs from the album and the singer’s personal reflections.
This is the second collaboration between Swift and AMC. In 2023, the theater channel obtained the rights to distribute a filmed version of the ERA tour of Swift. The concert film generated more than $ 261 million at the world box office. It is currently the most profitable concert film of all time.
