The prestige subsidiary Estates receives 154 crores of crore GST Notice of the case of DGGI

The real estate company Prestige Estates Projects LTD LTD LTD Monday October 6) said that its subsidiary, Prestige Mulund Realty Private Limited, had received a presentation notice (SCN) from the Directorate General of Tax Products and Services (DGGI), Mumbai, under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, as well as the Maharashtra GST Act, 2017 and Integrated GST Act, 2017.

The opinion, dated October 6, 2025, alleges the non-payment or the short-term appeal of the tax on goods and services (TPS) by the subsidiary. According to the SCN, the company was invited to show a cause before the additional commissioner / spouse, CGST & Central excise, Mumbai East Commissionrate, within 30 days, explaining why the TPS rising to 153.60 Sterling books, as well as an equivalent penalty and applicable interests, should not be requested under section 74 (1) other relevant provisions.

In its disclosure to exchanges, Prestige Estates said that on the basis of its evaluation, the request is not maintained. The company said it evaluated the issue and would take the appropriate measures in response to the opinion. Prestige Estates has also specified that it does not expect a significant impact on its financial activities, operations or other commercial activities due to the opinion.

Prestige actions Estates Projects Ltd ended at 1,547.00 ₹, up 14.40 ₹, or 0.94%, on the ESB.
