The PQ wants to bring 150,000 seniors back to the job market

To combat the labor shortage, the Parti Québécois wants to convince 150,000 people aged 60 and over to work by 2030, thanks to financial incentives.

It proposes, for example, a tax reduction of 15% without penalty on retirement income or even the cessation of contributions to the Quebec pension plan for people aged 65 and over at work.
Thus, with a 15% rebate on the last $35,000 declared in income, people aged 60 and over who make $50,000 or less would not pay tax.
