Indianapolis-The former NFL quarter-arre, Mark Sanchez, was pulverized with pepper and stabbed several times during an altercation at the end of the evening with a 69-year-old truck driver in a city center in Indianapolis Alley, who led to criminal accusations against Fox Sports analyst, according to the judicial archives deposited on Sunday.

Based on the video sequences of the Altercation Hotel early Saturday and from the Driver’s Declaration to the police, a police affidavit alleys that Sanchez, feeling alcohol, accosted the driver of a box truck that fell into the loading quays of a hotel, leading to a confrontation outside the vehicle that prompted the driver to define a knife.

Sanchez was hospitalized with stab wounds in his upper right chest, said the affidavit signed by a police detective. Sanchez remained hospitalized early Sunday, police said. The truck driver, identified as PT, had a break on the left cheek, he said.

Sanchez was in a stable state, said Fox Sports on Saturday. There was no immediate update on Sunday.

Its initial audience was scheduled for Tuesday in a courtroom in Marion.

Sanchez stabbed several times

While the altercation intensified, the driver feared that “this guy tries to kill me” “and pulled his knife while Sanchez came to him, said the affidavit. Sanchez was first stabbed two or three times, then stabbed again when he returned to the driver, he said.

“The next thing PT knew was that Mr. Sanchez looked at him with a shock look, he turned slowly, and Mr. Sanchez took off north in the aisle,” said the document.

Sanchez was in Indianapolis to call the match of Sunday raiders. Instead, he was accused of battery resulting in injuries, an unauthorized entry of an engine vehicle and public poisoning – all crimes. Police obtained a mandate to obtain the hospital phone and clothes from the hospital, according to the document.

There were no immediate judicial files indicating if Sanchez still had a legal representation.

Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said on Sunday that his office “would follow the facts and the law wherever they direct”.

“What started as a disagreement between a 38 -year -old former professional athlete and a 69 -year -old man shouldn’t have integrated into violence or having made a seriously injured person,” Mears said in a statement.

Fox Sports advertisers recognize the absence of Sanchez on Sunday

Sanchez told the hospital police that everything he remembered was to seize a window, the court document said. Sanchez said he didn’t know who else was involved or where the altercation had occurred.

“Friday evening in Indianapolis, one of the members of our team, Mark Sanchez, was involved in an incident which, to be honest, we always try to wrap our heads,” said Curt Menefee on Sunday during the main pre-match show of the Fox NFL. “At that time, our thoughts and prayers were with Mark and his family and all the people involved.”

Play-By-Play Sports advertiser, Chris Myers, also recognized the absence of Sanchez on Sunday before presenting the replacement of Sanchez, Brady Quinn. Myers said he wanted to send thoughts and prayers to Sanchez and to all those involved in the incident.

The police found Sanchez with the stab wounds when they were sent to a downtown pub around 12:35 p.m. on Saturday. The truck driver was found in the aisle.

The details of the confrontation were disclosed in the Affidavit, on the basis of the video sequences and the declaration of the driver of the truck to the police.

The video showed a man who would be Sanchez running in the aisle towards the truck, said the Affidavit. The driver works for a company specializing in recycling and eliminating commercial cooking oil, and his work functions have been exercised, he said.

Sanchez opened the truck door and started talking to the driver, said the affidavit. Sanchez told the driver that he could not be at the loading quay and that Sanchez had spoken to the hotel director, according to the document. Sanchez felt alcohol and his speech was scrambled, the driver told the police.

Affidavit says that Sanchez launched a truck driver on the ground

Sanchez followed the driver from one side to the other of the truck, said the court document. When the driver rushed to the driver’s door, the video showed that Sanchez “seizes and throwing” the driver to a hotel wall, he said. The fight continued against a garbage dumpster and Sanchez threw the driver on the ground, he said.

Sanchez went up in the truck but came out when he said the driver that he was not allowed, he said. Sanchez repeated that he had spoken to a manager and did not want the driver to replace the fryer oil, according to the document. Sanchez has tried to enter the truck again and prevented the driver from calling his manager, he said.

Believing that he was in danger, the driver caught peppery gas from his pocket and sprayed the face of Sanchez, he said. Sanchez wiped his face and advanced towards the driver, he said.

The driver then pulled his knife and stabbed Sanchez while the old district came to him, he said. The driver fell on pallets on the ground, he told the police.

“While PT was on the ground, he could only see the feet of Mr. Sanchez coming to him, making him realize that he was in a situation of life or death,” said the affidavit.

The driver put himself at his feet and stabbed Sanchez the last time while Sanchez came to him, he said.

Sanchez had a 10 -year NFL career before retiring in 2019. He appeared on ABC and ESPN for two years before joining Fox Sports as a game analyst in 2021. Native of Long Beach, California, played in southern California before he was selected by the New York Jets with the fifth choice of NFL 2009. Appeared in Games with Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington.

Sanchez is married to actor Perry Mattfeld, a former USC girl cheerle Shameless,, In the darkness And Powers of Chad. She recently told Glamor that the couple had twin girls in March.
