The new Delhi BJP office is likely to be inaugurated on September 29 in the presence of PM Modi: Sources

The long -awaited inauguration of the new BJP office building on DDU Marg is likely to be held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the national president of the JP Nadda party on September 29, sources announced on Thursday.

Preparations for the inaugural function are keeping in mind the presence of the Prime Minister, said a largely part of a source.

“The invitation to the inauguration of the new party office was sent to the Prime Minister’s office and it is likely to attend, although a final confirmation is expected,” he said.

Besides PM Modi, the best BJP brass, including the JP Nadda party leader, will be present in the function, he added.

The construction of the new building has already been completed, and the last -minute keys were also given with the necessary statutory authorizations such as the occupancy certificate, fire safety, among others, said sources.

The BJP Delhi unit currently operates from its head office in a bungalow near Gurudwara Rakabganj on Pandit Pant Marg in Lutyens Delhi.

The new party office building incorporates elements of the architecture in southern India, with pillars raised at the entrance and its facade, the party leaders said.

Located on a plot of 825 square meters, the five -storey building includes 30,000 square feet of construction zone, including the facade, the entrance and the pillars. It is designed to be environmentally friendly and equipped with modern equipment, they said.

The structure includes two basements for vehicle parking. The ground floor houses a conference room, a reception area and a canteen, while an auditorium with a capacity of 300 people is located on the first floor, they added.

“The new building will solve the problem linked to adaptation offices for various organizations and party deputies at the Pant Marg office,” said a senior Delhi BJP.

The offices of the various cells and staff of the Delhi BJP will be located on the second floor, while the third floor will accommodate the offices of party vice-presidents, general secretaries and secretaries.

The top floor will house the offices of the president of the BJP de Delhi and the Secretary General (Organization), as well as rooms for Delhi deputies and the charges of the state unit, he added.
