Due to recent hot and dry conditions, the National Capital Commission has declared a ban on open fires in Gatineau Park until further notice.

The ban includes open fires in campgrounds, picnic areas and beaches.

In addition, charcoal barbecues are not permitted. Gas barbecues are allowed.
