Managers are investigating after a medical helicopter crashed on a sacramento motorway on Monday evening.
The Sacramento fire service said that the helicopter had fallen on highway 50 in the direction is near 59th street. Route 50 in the direction is under a complete closure at 59th Street due to the accident, California Highway Patrol said.
Officials said the plane is a Reach helicopter that provides air medical services. It was not yet clear how many people were on board or if the plane went to the hospital or from a hospital in the region.
At least three people have essential injuries, said Sacramento Fire. The cause of the accident remains under study. The Sacramento County Sheriff said that he was helping the CHP.
