The Gray Cup Grand Final in Regina will be sold out

TORONTO — The 109th Gray Cup Classic will be sold out.
The leaders of the Canadian Football League and the Saskatchewan Roughriders confirmed the news on Wednesday.
The final game of the 2022 CFL season is Sunday, Nov. 20 at Mosaic Stadium at 6 p.m. ET. More than 33,000 spectators are expected.
« The Gray Cup is more than a game – it’s about unity, strength and community, » CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie said in a press release.
« It’s a piece of history shared between our wonderful sport, our world-class players and our incredible fans, and we couldn’t be more excited to come together in a jam-packed Mosaic Stadium to write, together, the 109e chapter of this story.
This will be the first time the Gray Cup Final is played at Mosaic Stadium which replaced Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field in 2016.
“We were absolutely impressed with the support we received for the 109e Gray Cup in Saskatchewan,” said Roughriders President and CEO and Gray Cup Festival Co-Chair Craig Reynolds.
« We look forward to welcoming fans from across the country to Mosaic Stadium for the championship game, and thousands more for a unique celebration of Canadian football at our Gray Cup festival. »
The city of Regina last hosted the Gray Cup final in 2013 when the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 45-23. The Roughriders haven’t won the trophy since that day.
