The Eastern Chamber of Commerce is committed to diversity

The East Montreal Chamber of Commerce (CCEM) recently launched its new initiative, Diversity Networkin collaboration with Bell.

“Today, more than 27.4% of the population living in the east end of Montreal is an immigrant. In this context, our economic fabric can only emerge as winners from greater inclusion of entrepreneurs from immigrant backgrounds, Aboriginal peoples and diversity, » explains Jean-Denis Charest, President and CEO of the CCEM, by way of press release.

A dozen companies and organizations from the East of Montreal are part of the cohort Diversity Network and will be accompanied throughout the year by the CCEM to “extend their network, share and increase their knowledge and participate in networking and training activities”.

A first meeting of the new network took place on November 30, at the Conseil des Arts de Montréal.
