As a reminder, on April 24, 2022, at the end of the morning, a person close to a man called 911 following the receipt of messages from the injured man. Two policewomen quickly go to the known residence of the man. Everything suggests that the man is at his home, but does not answer his phone or the police who are trying to establish contact by voice. The door is therefore forced, and the police find the man at home, still conscious, but weak. He had inflicted serious injuries on himself with a sharp object. He was then transported by ambulance to a hospital center and taken care of by doctors.

The DPCP decided that the evidence in the investigation file does not allow it to be concluded that the police officers involved demonstrated criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and that the police intervention was legal, because it was justified by the need to protect life. and public safety.
