The Delusions of the Democrats’ Cut Inflation Act

Democrats are shouting hosannas for the Cut Inflation Act. President Biden says it will « immediately help » his party’s candidates for midterms this fall, while the Senate Majority Leader chuck schumer calls it « a game changer ». The New York Times said this « radical legislation » gives Democrats « an unfamiliar feeling: hope. »

Perhaps this bill will allow Democrats to escape what was shaping up to be a midterm boo. But I’m skeptical.
