The Cowboys deprived of a defensive element

The Dallas Cowboys won’t be able to count on the presence of linebacker Keanu Neal on Sunday in the playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Suffering from various injuries, including one to an elbow, Neal had been kept out of Cowboys practice on Thursday.

The Dallas team shouldn’t suffer too much since it has other top defensive players, namely linebackers Micah Parsons and Leighton Vander Esch.

Safety Jayron Kearse leads the Cowboys in defensive tackles while cornerback Trevor Biggs leads the club with 13 interceptions.
