CEO of Cerebras, Andrew Feldman, admitted that his manufacturer of artificial intelligence fleas had made an error last week when he had not immediately explained his decision to withdraw his registration for a first public offer.

In a LinkedIn article late Sunday Sunday, Feldman wrote that the company still wanted to become public but has changed considerably since its initial file a year ago. Cerebras wants to revise certain parts of his prospectus before selling shares to the public.

“Since the company has improved significantly, we decided to withdraw so that we can re -examine with updated financial information, information on the strategy, including our approach on this subject (sic) changing Landscape of IA in rapid evolution,” wrote Feldman.

A few days before filing its withdrawal notice on Friday, Cerebras announced a financing cycle of $ 1.1 billion to an evaluation of $ 8.1 billion. Some of the investors of the new round, including Tiger Global and 1789 Capital, where Donald Trump Jr. is a partner, was not appointed in the 2024 file, he added.

“We have made this call because it is in the best interest of our investors, partners and teams – and this will allow potential investors to better understand the value of the company when we enter public procurement,” wrote Feldman, without providing a calendar for a new file.

In its prospectus, Cerebras has characterized as a company that produces large -scale fleas for training and management of AI models. This year, the company has added Cloud because it operates data centers that can manage incoming requests for AI models.

What has remained was the insistence of Cerebras that its equipment surpasses graphic processing units, or GPUS, a market that Nvidia dominates but where Advanced micro-apparents Try to play catching up. AMD said on Monday that Optai undertook to deploy up to 6 Gigawatts of company AI processor and could end up holding 10% of the flea manufacturer.
