the Carabins lose to the Rouge et Or after a dramatic final

The Université Laval Rouge et Or managed to win back the Dunsmore Cup, symbol of the highest award in Quebec university football, against their eternal rivals the Carabins of the Université de Montréal.

Coach Glenn Constantin’s men, who had the advantage of playing at home, won 25-24 after a very close game decided on the last game of the match. With a perfect equality in the last moments of the match, the Rouge et Or managed to manage the clock and try a last placement for the victory.

The field goal was missed but the Carabins were unable to get out of the end zone, offering a single and the point of victory to their opponents.

After two failures in a row, the Rouge et Or will participate in the Mitchell Cup next Saturday for a place in the final of the Vanier Cup, the final of Canadian university football.
