The Barenaked Ladies make their way across Canada with holiday tour
TORONTO – The Barenaked Ladies will decorate concert halls with a festive atmosphere during the Christmas season.
The pop-rock quartet from Toronto have announced plans to take their Hometown Holidays with Barenaked Ladies tour across much of Canada.
The 14-date series of chorus shows will feature the band performing selections from their album « Barenaked for the Holidays » and « some other chestnuts and surprises, » starting in Vancouver on December 1.
Additional stops include Edmonton on December 5, Calgary on December 7, Regina on December 9 and Winnipeg on December 12.
They will follow with a series of dates in Ontario which will include Thunder Bay on December 13, Ottawa on December 17, Hamilton on December 18 and a final show in Toronto on December 22.
The tour comes after the Barenaked Ladies were forced to cut dates in Toronto last year as Ontario saw a spike in COVID-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant.
Tickets go on sale for most dates starting Thursday.
