Taylor Lautner is ready to reprise her role in ‘Twilight’: ‘I would never say no’

Taylor Lautner shot to fame playing Jacob Black in the ‘Twilight’ franchise, but would he be willing to play the character again?
He definitely would, as the actor revealed in an interview with E ! New.
« He’s a good character that’s easy to like, so I would never say no to that, » he said. “Because it’s Jacob Black. He’s a lovely guy.

When asked where he thinks Jacob would be in his life now, 10 years later, Lautner replied, « Happily ever after with Renesmee because that’s where I left off. » And yeah, he’s a pretty loyal guy.
If he were to reprise the role, he added, he would not attempt to replicate the same buff physique he displayed in the original films.
“The body was perfect for the role – but the amount of training, discipline and food that went with it, not great memories. It’s hard because when I was 17, 18, 19, I couldn’t do cardio because I just had to build as much muscle as possible,” he recalls.

« So if I started sweating during practice, my trainer would stop me, and then we’d finish a practice and he would literally say, ‘Go to Carl’s Jr. and get a double, triple cheeseburger.’ We were just trying to gain weight,” he explained. « Now I wish I could go back in that way because now it’s 90% cardio and I don’t have triple cheeseburgers, that’s for sure. »
He added: « I think it was great for the role, but I’d rather just be fit and healthy, you know? Definitely not a Jacob Black body.
