Tamil Nadu elections: MK Stalin deploys key announcements, project launches

On August 26, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, inaugurated the expansion of the “chief minister’s breakfast scheme”, part of the flagship initiatives of the DMK government, to the urban areas of the State. The expansion marks the 5th phase of the implementation of the regime, which should benefit 3.06 Lakh more children belonging to 2,429 schools. With the new launch today, a total of 20.59 Lakh children will benefit from the CM breakfast program in the state.

On August 22, Stalin participated in the launch of 17 new projects by the Department of Hindu religious and charities, with a total expense of Rs 124.97 crores. The new projects include the construction of the waiting areas of the faithful, lodges, conference rooms and parking lots in eminent temples such as the Arulmigu Arulmigu Arunachaleswara (Tiruvannamalai) and the temple of Aulmigu Nachiyar (Srivilliputhur). The CM inaugurated 14 projects completed on 11 temples, worth 51.19 crosses.

On August 19, Stalin deployed the Muthalvarin Kaakkum Karangal program, with an initial funding of 24.43 sterling books (extend to 50.5 crores), to help former soldiers launch companies. The benefits include up to 1 loans of loans, a capital grant of 30% and an interest subsidy of 3%. In addition, Stalin distributed letters of appointment to new recruits from the road service as part of the endowment of infrastructure staff.

The regime will cost the government of state 30.16 crosses.

The chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, launched the Anbukkarangal program to provide financial support to the education of orphaned children or those who have lost a parent. As part of the initiative, monthly assistance from RS 2,000 to children until the age of 18 and helps them continue their studies without interruption. The government would provide support for children to continue their higher education.
The Anbukkarangal program was launched as part of the Thayumanavar program and the monthly aid would be provided to 6,082 children each month, the CM said.
