Swerve in Gore, in the Laurentians: the motorcyclist succumbs to his injuries

MONTREAL — A motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries Friday evening at the hospital, a few hours after being involved in a swerve on Route 329 in Gore, in the Laurentians.
According to initial information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the 33-year-old man lost control of his machine as he approached a curve, around 3:30 p.m., spokesman Nicolas Scholtus said.
At the time of his transport to the hospital, the latter had serious injuries.
Route 329 was closed for a time between Mille Isles Road and Braemer Road.
Collision specialists were dispatched to the scene to establish the causes and circumstances of this accident.
The identity of the victim, a resident of Laval, was not immediately disclosed.
