Image: Nintendo Life

Nintendo yesterday surprised everyone With a new animated short film called ‘Near you‘, And this is already led to all kinds of online theories.

We know that Nintendo is currently expanding beyond video games with themed parks and films (We look at you, Super Mario Galaxy movie). He also has his video production company “Nintendo Pictures” and recently launched a range of Mario products in Japan for a younger audience, made up of rattles and construction blocks with Amiibo features.

Then there may be the most common affirmation that this new video is linked to Pikmin. If you look at the short circuit, it seems that there is something Invisible to move all the objects of the scene, and Nintendo online lovers apparently equaled the music of this trailer with the series of games.

We even had past quotes from Shigeru Miyamoto de Nintendo telling us how Pikmin is “everywhere in our world” and “invisible to the naked eye”. So what do you think? Is it something to do with Pikmin, or do you think it’s something completely different? Vote in our survey and let us know in the comments.
