Suicide bombing at Kabul tutoring center kills at least 19

KABUL, Afghanistan – A suicide bomber detonated an explosion at an education center on Friday, killing at least 19 people, including many women, in the latest attack targeting the country’s Shia minority.

The attacker forced his way into the center’s exam hall, where some 400 students were taking university entrance exams, then set off an explosion, a teacher at the center said. The education center included a partition to separate male and female students and the attack took place from the female side, students at the center told an Afghan news channel.
