Students feel absolved of responsibility for maintaining public health

Hundreds of students protest Western’s vaccination mandate, August 28

Ironic, really, all those students supposedly at Western for higher education, vigorously protesting vaccines. Obviously, they study business and social media more than history.

Would they also protest vaccines against poliomyelitis, tuberculosis, tetanus, measles, mumps, rubella, smallpox, diphtheria, whooping cough, meningococcal disease, to name a few?

Many universities offer excellent courses in the history of science. Does Western?

Why does this group feel entitled to be exempted from contributing to public health?
