Springer and Manoah will represent the Blue Jays at the MLB All-Star Game

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer and starting pitcher Alek Manoah made the American League roster for the 2022 MLB All-Star Game.

Springer, a four-time all-star, is averaging .247/.330/.477 with 16 home runs and 39 RBIs in 76 games with the Blue Jays this season.

Manoah, meanwhile, is 9-4 with a 2.34 ERA, .985 WHIP and 97 strikeouts in 107.2 innings in 17 starts this season. This will be Manoah’s first star appearance.

The 2022 MLB All-Star Game will be played Tuesday, July 19 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. You can watch the game on Sportsnet and Sportsnet NOW at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
