The evening’s guests of honor are lawyer and children’s author Margot Denomme, author of Mom, am I pretty? and Awesome inside + outside; Toronto Police Services social media expert Laurie McCann and Beaches Therapy Group therapists Rebecca Loucks and Laura Devlin.

Margot Denomme has been a criminal lawyer in Toronto for over 20 years and has witnessed the devastating effects of poor choices made by children with low self-esteem and shattered self-confidence.

As a mother of two daughters, she was struck by the distorted images of beauty sold to children via the media and advertising – and she writes children’s books with the clear message that beauty comes from within and from heart.
