Spain, Barça Great Jordi Alba to retire at the end of the Miami season

Inter Miami, defender Jordi Alba, announced on Tuesday his decision to retire football at the end of the MLS 2025 season.

Alba had previously signed an extension of contract with the club in May during the MLS 2027 season, before choosing to cancel its agreement and retire.

The defender joined Inter Miami for the first time in Barcelona in July 2023, bringing together the teammates of Barcelona Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets.
