BERLIN — Slovakia is confident that the 30 NATO allies will support Finland’s and Sweden’s plans to join the alliance, Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok said on Saturday.

“Slovakia is absolutely ready to consider this request and support the membership of these two countries,” he told reporters upon arriving in Berlin for a meeting with his NATO counterparts.

He also advocated additional military aid to Ukraine in the war against Russia.
