The 55-year-old singer has admitted that she feels ‘lost’ without her boy, Shane O’Connor, who passed away last week, and that she ‘hates’ herself, but hopes to get help. ‘hospital.

Her tweet came after she posted a flurry of messages, claiming she “doesn’t deserve to live” and blaming herself for her boy’s death.

She wrote: “I’m a piece of shit. I don’t deserve to live and everyone who knows me will be better off without me. I’m sorry for all the harm I’ve done.

“I’ve been alone for the past three days. Because I’m S ***. And rightly so, no one wants to know me. I pissed off Shane’s dad because I tweeted about the funeral. I’m so at ***. I’m sorry Donal. I am alone. Twitter is for single people. Monsters like me feel terribly lonely.

She wrote on social media: “I have now formally identified the remains of my son, Shane. May God forgive the Irish state because I never will. (sic) ”

A day earlier, the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer took to Twitter to reveal that her son had been found dead.

She tweeted: “My beautiful son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the very light of my life, has decided to end his earthly fight today and is now with God. May he rest in peace and may no one follow his example. My baby. I love you so much. Please be at peace. (sic) ”
