Shesterkin stops 35 shots and Rangers frustrate Kings

LOS ANGELES — Igor Shesterkin stopped 35 shots, Chris Kreider scored twice and the New York Rangers came from behind to beat the Los Angeles Kings 5-3 on Tuesday.
Braden Schneider, Vincent Trocheck and Kaapo Kakko all scored in the second half for Rangers, who have won three of their last four meetings. Rangers started the second half down 2-0.
Kevin Fiala had a goal and two assists, and Gabe Vilardi set a career high with his 11th goal of the campaign, but the Kings saw their five-game winning streak come to an end. Cal Petersen allowed four goals on 24 shots.
